Our soldiers of today... Saturday the 8th November at The Croft, 3 brave soldiers fought their way through the rain and the mud to represent Welford in the Cross Country competition. In the Year 5 girls race Lottie Davis and Mia Cronshaw ran fantastically taking 12th and 14th position respectively, in a field of 100 athletes. Freya Appleton also bravely fought to the end despite an old war wound, all credit to her! Tough girls, great job well done!
