Welford-on-Avon Primary School

Uniform

The school uniform colours are bright red, grey and white. Sweatshirts are in red, polo shirts in white. Children should wear either long or short grey trousers, a grey skirt or pinafore – with the option of a dress in the summer.

Sensible school shoes should be worn for comfort and safety.

For PE: Shirts and shorts in red with the school logo are available from The National School Wear Centre, Alcester. In addition, your child will need a PE bag and trainers for PE.  School track suits are also available.

Outdoor games kit is needed during the winter months to enable your child to be warm during outdoor activities. Tracksuits and trainers are the most suitable and we request that all children wear red top & red shorts and for more inclement weather it is a black tracksuit and a red top. The tracksuit should be plain and not branded. Football boots may be worn during extra curricular activities.

Parents are asked to ensure that their children conform to the dress code above at all times. In addition, we request that all items of school uniform are clearly labelled with the child’s name.

Children attending nursery are required to wear the school uniform and – when advised by the School, will be required to participate in PE and therefore wear the items as notified above. In addition, Nursery children should only use a book bag (which can be purchased from the National School Wear Centre) and should not come to school with a backpack.
