Medical Issues
If your child is going to be absent through illness, parents are asked to inform the School on the first day of absence by telephone or letter.
Parents are requested to inform the Headteacher of any relevant medical history, which may affect their child’s general development and education in School. This is particularly important in the case of asthma, diabetes and epilepsy. Plese note that children with asthma should bring a named inhaler to School.
Medicine at School is discouraged. If children must have medication during School hours, we invite parents to come into School to administer the correct medication. Antibiotics that are prescribed three times daily can be taken in the morning, after School and before bed.
Please note advised time away from School for illnesses.
